The show was open to all makes and models, but was sponsored by “SirBrit”, a local British car club. So, there were a lot of MGs, Triumphs, and Jaguars. Which I was fine with because they’re awesome.
I parked next to and made friends with an old guy with a Pinto. Turns out, he collects them and restores them. He has four. This one is a ‘79.
My plates expire in June and I’ll be getting historic motor vehicle (“antique”) plates then!

Looks like a nice show! In MO we can plate a car with year of manufacture plates, but it has to be licensed as a historic vehicle. I’d love to do that, but the vehicle is then limited to 1000 miles per year except for miles driven to a car show. I DD mine, so that just won’t fly. :(

why bother restoring a Pinto?
however, each to their own.

Dude has four of them and they’re all in similar condition. I don’t judge. After all, I take amazingly good care of a 30-year-old J-body.
